SUMMARY:  We are seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Machinist to join our expanding team. This opportunity has arisen due to continued growth and the launch of new products. You will play a key role in producing high-precision, one-off, or very small batch components using advanced CNC machinery, primarily in a turning environment.

We’re looking for someone with a progressive mindset, who embraces new technology, thrives on continuous improvement, and is confident working with Fanuc or Siemens-based control systems.

HOURS:
Monday to Friday

JOB DUTIES:

  • Operate CNC turning machines using FANUC and Siemens controls to produce precision components from engineering drawings

  • Carry out self-inspection using standard measuring equipment to ensure quality

  • Work independently and take ownership of tasks to meet production targets

  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping

  • Participate in daily team meetings and contribute to process improvements

  • Support colleagues and collaborate across departments

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Proficient in FANUC and/or Siemens CNC controls

  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T

  • Skilled in using measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, depth gauges, and dial indicators

  • Familiarity with workholding practices (e.g., chucking)

  • GCSE Maths grade C/4-5 or above

  • Computer literate and comfortable basic Microsoft applications e.g Excel

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience, ideally in a turning environment
    (Milling experience also considered if willing to learn turning)
