SUMMARY:  Continental Diamond Tool is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Technician to join our manufacturing team specializing in superabrasive products (e.g., diamond and CBN tools). The Shipping Technician is responsible for preparing, packaging, and coordinating the shipment of customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. This role ensures all products are handled with care, documentation is complete, and shipments meet company and customer requirements. The Shipping Technician supports overall warehouse operations and contributes to maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe work environment.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Prepare and package finished goods for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications.

  • Verify order accuracy, including part numbers, quantities, and documentation.

  • Generate shipping labels, packing lists, and required documentation using company systems.

  • Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure product quality, correct quantities, and proper labeling.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper labeling, storage, and recordkeeping.

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently if certified.

  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and general warehouse duties as needed.

  • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized work area.

  • Other duties as assigned

PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • High school diploma or GED (required)

  • Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.

  • Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and label creation.

  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, part numbers, and documentation.

  • Functional and technical skills

  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs and operate forklifts or pallet jacks (certification preferred)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Good computer literacy

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and precision.
