Seeking a full-time Drafter/Manufacturing Engineer to collaborate with the manufacturing team to enhance processes and quality, troubleshoot issues, and design tooling/fixtures in the superabrasive industry.

SUMMARY: As a Drafter/Manufacturing Engineer at Continental Diamond Tool, you will be responsible for the creation and detailing of drawings for both customers and manufacturing. This role encompasses the preparation of all manufacturing prints, tooling, overlays, and necessary electronic files under supervision. Additionally, it involves processing job routers and manufacturing paperwork. Collaborates closely with the manufacturing team to enhance processes and quality, troubleshoot issues, and design tooling/fixtures.superabrasive industry.
HOURS: Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
DUTIES:
Responsible for producing manufacturing and customer drawings, as well as overlays, utilizing SolidWorks software.
Tasked with generating job routers and all necessary paperwork/documentation for manufacturing.
Engaged in customer design projects, including direct communication with clients.
Possesses knowledge of manufacturing processes such as plating, pressing, machining, and grinding.
Proficient in using scales, calipers, micrometers, and similar measuring equipment.
Demonstrates strong PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office and CAD software.
Reports time and material usage in manufacturing systems.
Performs additional duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience
Correctly and accurately draw required customer and manufacturing prints
Must be proficient in SolidWorks and/or similar CAD software
Strong mechanical and conceptual aptitude
3+ years of related experience
Functional and technical skills
Excellent communication skills
Good computer skills; excel, word, ERP systems
Experience with CAM packages; MasterCam
Attention to detail and have sound judgment

SUMMARY: As the HR Generalist for CDT, you will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources department. This position is responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
HOURS: Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
RESPONSIBILITiES:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
Assist with new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Benefits Administration:
Coordinate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Address employee inquiries related to benefits.
Employee Relations:
Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters.
Promote a positive work environment and address employee concerns.
HR Policies and Compliance:
Distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Payroll and Records:
Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records.
Handle timekeeping and attendance tracking.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or 3+ years human resources experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) preferred.
