SUMMARY:  As the Customer Service Representative you are responsible for effectively communicating with sales teams and customers to accurately relay customer needs and requirements. This role involves preparing quotes and sales orders, and meticulously reviewing all related documentation, including customer purchase orders (POs), for accuracy. The representative will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate information and support.

HOURS: Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITiES :

  • Communicate CDT’s capabilities and services to customers clearly and effectively.

  • Utilize the phone system to manage inbound and outbound customer calls professionally.

  • Operate computer systems and navigate dashboards to access and update customer data efficiently.

  • Review all documentation, including quotes, customer POs, and sales orders, to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations, and properly using and maintaining personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Perform additional duties as required to support the team and enhance customer satisfaction.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency with computers and basic software applications

  • High school diploma or GED

PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment to ensure accuracy in documentation and customer interactions.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
