SUMMARY:  As a Human Resources Specialist at Continental Diamond Tool, you will be at the forefront of our HR operations. You will be responsible for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits. Your expertise will help shape our company culture and support our employees in their professional growth.

DUTIES:

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and candidate selection.

  • Oversee onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

  • Provide HR support to employees, addressing questions, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Perform HR-related duties such as time balancing, PTO tracking, and insurance enrollment.

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Support performance management and employee development initiatives.

  • Contribute to diversity and inclusion efforts within the organization.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.

  • Keep up to date with HR laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all HR activities.

  • Handle confidential HR matters with the utmost discretion.

  • Perform other duties as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in HR functions, preferably in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, laws, and regulations.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • 3+ years of related experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • HR certification

  • Excellent computer skills; Excel, Word, HR systems, GSS

  • Attention to detail and sound judgment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Prolonged sitting (standing desk optional)

  • Vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, etc.
