SUMMARY:  While part-time manufacturing positions are rare, at Continental Diamond Tool we've identified several job functions that make for excellent part-time work. CLASSIFICATION: PART-TIME

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to learn and follow processes

• Safely operate required equipment

• High school diploma or GED

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong conceptual/mechanical understanding

• Attention to detail and sound judgment

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Past manufacturing experience

• Computer skills; Excel, Word, ERP systems

• Functional and technical skills

• Experience with controls and instrumentation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimal, varies by position

Part time or Full time Cleaning Technician

SUMMARY:  Responsible for the cleaning of the entire facility.  This will include tasks such as sweeping and mopping of all the floors, wiping down of equipment and machines, and emptying of the trash.  All will be required to maintain quality and safety standards, maintaining equipment and tooling, keeping records. 

HOURS: Scheduled hours for this position are 2:00pm – 10:00pm., flexible days

JOB DUTIES:

• Required to read, and understand procedures and documentation, follow direction from management on the tasks/projects you are asked to do.

• Able to safely and accurately use cleaning chemicals and equipment to perform duties

• Use and maintain all tools, equipment, and storage areas.

• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations, and properly using and maintaining PPE

• Perform other duties as required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Safely run and use required equipment

• Required to read and understand procedures and documentation

• Highschool diploma or GED

PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

• Good hand eye coordination

• High level of interpersonal communication skills

• Good computer skills; excel, word, ERP systems

• Excellent attention to detail and have sound judgment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Use of hands, fingers, and arms to grasp, feel and reach

• Regularly exposed to machine coolants, acids, cleaning chemicals

• Frequently required to walk

• Stand for long periods of time

• Seldom required to stoop, kneel, or crouch

• Regularly lift and move up to 50lbs

• Vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus

• Potential for long shifts and/or weekends
